Organizational Chart Example

Whether you are a sole proprietor or have a large team with many departments, it is crucial that you understand the different positions and roles that make up your company. Here are a couple of examples to support you in creating your own organizational chart. It is important to note that this is not about the people, it is about the roles. Identify the roles, create position descriptions to fulfil on each role, consider which area will provide you with the most leverage if you were to fill so you can focus on what matters most. Once you have created your chart and if you already have team members, begin putting names where roles are fulfilled so you can distinguish and prioritize the roles that need to be filled next.
